PRODUCT CARE

All Manjerica products are handcrafted with vegetable tanned leather and full grain calf leather tanned according to traditional techniques in order to maintain its natural beauty and soft feel.

Our vegetable tanned leather products are made with natural, untreated vegetable tanned leather. This means each skin is unique in its own specific coloring, markings, and striations, and the surface is susceptible to scratching. Variations in surface and scratching are not viewed as defects.

Over the time, the leather will acquire a patina and may also darken due to the oils from your skin and direct sunlight, enhancing its natural look. Please keep your bag away from prolonged intense sunlight, heat and humidity. Exposure to water, oil, makeup can unfortunately stain tanned leathers.

In the event the handbag gets soiled, other than with permanent dyes, try softly dabbing the leather with a clean, dry cloth and mild leather cream.

The care with which you use and look after your Manjerica will preserve its beauty:
1. Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth
2. Do not overload your bag
3. Avoid contact with darker colored materials
4. In case of accidental scratches, reduce by massaging the skin gently
5. Store in the dust bag for minimal exposure to dust and the elements
6. Protect from exposure to extreme sunlight and humidity
7. Avoid contact with grease, mud, dirt, rough surfaces, and rain
8. Extra care should be taken to protect white and light-colored handbags
9. Preferably clean by a leather specialist
